Water tank delivery? What to expect.

Water tank delivery differs depending on what style and size of tank is delivered.

Slimline water tanks and round tanks < 6,000 litres

In most cases your tank will be delivered via truck and trailer. Servicing the East Coast of Australia takes hours of logistics. Tanks are grouped into delivery areas. We attempt to be at the first drop off location by 7am. A few days prior to delivery of your water tank, the driver will contact you with a delivery time. From years of experience we are usually pretty accurate with delivery of Water Tank times. The odd occasion occurs where we may be running behind schedule due to road works, or difficulty at a previous delivery. Read the rest

CFA FIRE WATER TANK

A steel water tank with a CFA fire kit is now a common requirement when building a house in a rural area. To meet local council requirements and to receive final approval. These universal connections help the CFA to fight fires in fire prone areas. Within the industry we call these tanks – CFA Fire Water Tank.

Water Tank Delivery

Slimline Poly Tanks up to 5,000 litres

All slimline water tanks are loaded onto our truck and trailer by forklift.  The tanks are then securely strapped down and checked to ensure they will arrive at their destination safely. Our drivers are experienced at Water tank Delivery.

Our drivers are solo.  They will off load your tank onto the ground by themselves onto the driveway or nature strip outside your house.  The driver has discretion as to whether they wish to help the customer move the tank to its final location.  Drivers are aware that they are not covered for insurance once they enter the backyard of any premises.  Read the rest

Can I drink the water from my water tank?

Yes – this is an easy question to answer and there is a reasonably cheap way to supply your house with fresh clean water from your water tank.

Firstly, you will need a water tank.  For domestic residences we would recommend a 4,000 or 5,000 tank in the slimline range.  For a rural blocks and potentially no mains water connected blocks, we would recommend the largest round tank that fits your budget and rain fall quota to ensure continuous water supply.

You will require a pump.  For domestic blocks we would always recommend a mains-connected pump.  This will ensure continuous water supply even if water in the tank is low.  Read the rest
