The 5000 slimline corrugated tank comes with the following
- 400mm inlet strainer with light guard fitted in tank lid,
- 25mm zinc outlet with watermarked brass ball valve fitted at the bottom of the corrugation of the tank wall
- 100mm overflow with mosquito screen fitted on the top of the corrugation of the tank wall.

5,000 Litre Steel Water Tank
Steel water tanks sit bold and strong and will make a statement but are also practical and functional. You will have ready water supply for residential requirements, gardens and for BMO (Bushfinre Management Overlay) requirements.
Steel water tanks come in abundant of colours (see colour charts) and are made from genuine Australian Bluescope AQUAPLATE steel.
This fit out chart will help you select the correct position for the tanks fittings.
STANDARD INCLUSIONS
- 1 x 400mm Inlet Strainers with Light Guards Fitted In Tank Lid
- 1 x 25mm Zinc Outlet with WaterMarked Brass Ball Valve Fitted At The Bottom of The Corrugation of The Tank Wall
- 1 x 100mm Fitted Overflows On The Top Corrugation of The Tank Wall
Inlet: The tank inlet is situated on the tank roof where rainwater enters your tank.
Outlet: The tank outlet is located near the bottom of the tank where water flows out. The threads are BSP type, and the default outlet is 25mm.
Overflow: Overflows are designed to mate up to a PVC elbow to direct excess water harvested away from the tank and into a drain point.

DELIVERY
Ensuring your brand new steel water tank arrives in perfect condition is important to us. Our professionally trained delivery crews operate from our specifically fitted-out trucks to position your tank onto the prepared water tank base. Providing there is clear access, we can move the tank exactly into its place.
Tip: check the tank’s dimensions to ensure it will fit through gates, around tight corners or under low hanging branches or narrow passages.

You can rest assured that you have support for the long term. A manufacturer’s warranty for all AQUAPLATE® range of steel water tanks as follows:
- 20 year minimum life prior to perforation due to corrosion, as detailed in the AQUAPLATE® product warranty*
- 10 year construction warranty* covering the assembly and sealing of the tank
All tanks come with a 10 year construction warranty and 20 year warranty against corrosion.

As standard all Kingspan Water Tanks come with
Inlet – this is a 400mm hole on the top of the tank where rainwater will enter the tank. An inlet strainer comes standard to keep debris and leaves from your tank.
Outler – The outlet is usually installed on the tank wall closer to the bottom of the tank at the customers direction. As standard the tank outlet is 25m
Overflow – The tank overflow is a PVC elbow which directs excess water from the tank to a drainage point to ensure the tank does not overflow.
In respect of choosing a steel tank colour, we have a colour chart for each different state. There is a standard colour range and a non-standard colour range. Customers have many colours to choose from to ensure the steel water tank you choose matches with your façade.
All Kingspan Water Tanks are delivered from the manufacturing plant direct to the customer. Steel tanks can be a little difficult to transport due to their potential to dent during transport. Kingspan staff are well trained to ensure your tank will be delivered with little fuss.
