Steel tanks are a great investment to store water for later use. An Increasing popular choice for consumers is steel water tanks. Captured water is available for toilets and laundry, human consumption, general household use, irrigation and for livestock. Using mother natures resources responsibly helps future generations.

Commonly referred to as Colourbond Steel tanks or Aquaplate steel tanks. Manufactured using bluescope steel with a thin food grade polymer lining on one side ensures the water you are capturing is ready for re-use.

What comes Standard?

Available in Slimline, Modline, Round and Square shape colourbond steel tanks will have a shape that suits your needs.

Inlet – this is a 400 to 500mm hole on the top of the tank where rainwater will enter the tank. A inlet strainer comes standard to keep debris and leaves from your tank.

Outlet – The outlet position is available at customers direction. As standard the tank outlet is 25mm.

Overflow – The tank overflow is a PVC elbow which directs excess water from the tank to a drainage point to ensure the tank does not overflow.

Requirements for additional fittings – BMO fire, detentions, commercial size overflows are available.

Pickup Options – Steel Water Tanks

Options for Pickup are available for Steel Water Tanks Victoria also but please note that there are some things to consider if you choose to collect your water tank using your own vehicle.

There is a pickup fee. Someone from the production line will load the tank onto the customers vehicle via forklift.
As steel tanks are easily dinted and scratched – there is no manufacturers warranty for dints and scratches after the tank is loaded onto the customers vehicle
Straps can not be over tightened for steel tanks – due to the risk of damaging the edges. We recommend pool noodle, doonas etc to help relieve the pressure from the straps.
